Accounting & Reporting Advisory Senior

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a driven Accounting & Reporting Advisory Senior to join its Audit & Assurance team. You will lead advisory projects, work closely with clients on complex financial reporting matters, and help shape innovative solutions in a global, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver multiple accounting advisory engagements, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Prepare detailed advisory reports, memos, and technical guidance on IFRS, GAAP, and other reporting frameworks.
• Conduct in‑depth research on financial reporting standards and regulatory changes.
• Develop and review consolidation workpapers, group reporting packages, and financial statements.
• Provide training on accounting standards and reporting requirements to client finance teams.
• Support ESEF assurance engagements, including iXBRL tagging, xHTML formatting, and EU Taxonomy compliance.
• Contribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership by drafting articles on reporting trends.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in accounting advisory or audit with strong technical expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high‑quality outputs.
• Proactive mindset with critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with regulatory changes.
