HR Associate - Student Engagement & Early Talent

About the role

EY Malta is looking for an energetic, people-focused professional to lead its student engagement and early talent initiatives. The role sits within the Talent team, reports to the HR Manager and offers exposure to broader HR activities. It suits someone who enjoys building relationships with students and educational institutions, representing the employer brand, delivering presentations and workshops and creating engaging talent attraction programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a key contact for EY's student programmes, building and maintaining relationships with universities, colleges and student organisations.
• Represent EY at career fairs, university events, networking activities and employer branding initiatives.
• Deliver presentations, workshops and careers sessions to students and graduates.
• Support student engagement campaigns, employer branding activities and talent attraction initiatives.
• Coordinate the planning and delivery of EY's internship and work placement programmes, including the summer internship programme (onboarding, training and participant experience).
• Support graduate and student recruitment activities and broader Talent and HR initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR coordination, graduate recruitment or a related field.
• A passion for student recruitment, with prior recruitment marketing experience or a desire to learn.
• Experience organising events, networking activities or outreach initiatives is an asset.

Required skills

• Confidence presenting to groups and willingness to develop presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong social media and employer branding awareness is an advantage.
