Software Developer .NET (Hybrid, Malta)

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Software Developer to join our growing development team in Malta. The role offers a hybrid working model with two days a week in our Birkirkara office, allowing you to work on a variety of business‑critical applications for local and international customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web‑based applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Develop clean, secure and maintainable code in line with software development best practices.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through to implementation and support.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise existing applications.
• Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions and identify opportunities to improve applications and development processes.
• Ensure solutions are properly tested, documented and delivered within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• A degree or qualification in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of commercial .NET development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and coding best practices.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
• A methodical approach to writing clean, secure and maintainable code.
