Global Pharmacovigilance Data Management Manager

About the role

Baxter is looking for an experienced leader to head its Global Pharmacovigilance Data Management team, covering Europe, Asia-Pacific and the United States. The role combines people leadership, data and technology expertise and continuous improvement, leading a global team and driving innovation in patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global PV Data Management team, managing priorities, capacity and resources for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Manage PV Data Management operations and drive process optimization, automation and sustainable improvements.
• Build team capabilities through training, coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Partner with PV functions, IT, vendors and other global stakeholders on system and process improvements.
• Act as Project Manager, Technical Lead or Validation Lead on projects.
• Provide management with operational insights, KPIs and timely escalation of key risks and issues.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences or equivalent, with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering projects and achieving defined objectives.
• Experience working with pharmacovigilance databases such as Argus or ARISg and managing and developing teams.
• Strong people leadership, planning and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Pharmacovigilance databases (Argus, ARISg) and data models.
• SQL/PLSQL, reporting and data analysis.
• Solid knowledge of PV processes and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Project management and report validation experience.
